During this week the children are having our last visits, in order to clarify all possible details about the departure day. In a couple of days they will have to say goodbye to their irish partners and host families, and a mix of feelings begin to appear…
Keeping on with the students reflections, it’s interesting to read what our youngest boy expresses about the experience: “Me ha gustado mucho Irlanda, sin duda para repetir”. It seems that this brave boy is already thinking about next year, and he also added: “En el colegio se han portado muy bien conmigo y he hecho amigos. Como todo, los primeros días son difíciles pero luego te acostumbras”. His brother Diego also refers to those first days on the island: “Al principio en Irlanda no te relacionas porque piensas en España, pero luego va a mejor y al final no te quieres ir”. Moreover, he dares to recommend the experience to other children: “Lo pasas muy bien y las excursiones son lo mejor. Aprendes mucho inglés, y si llevas un cuaderno puedes escribir las palabras nuevas. Es recomendable venir”.

Besides, St. Olafs School’s students have also written very interesting reflections. On the one hand, Enrique declares: “Venir a Irlanda durante un mes es una expiencia chula para aprender inglés. Al principio echas de menos a tus padres, pero luego no te importaría quedarte más”. Regarding the school, he claims: “El colegio es bastante fácil comparado con España, excepto Historia, porque es la de Irlanda”. On the other hand, Rodrigo appreciates very much the activities that he does with his host family: “El sábado es mi segundo día favorito de la semana, ya que el primero es el domingo porque hago actividades con la familia y me lo paso muy bien”. Additionally, he expresses that “En el colegio se estudian muchos contenidos nuevos para aumentar y mejorar tu vocabulario”.
