On Thursday 7 November, the Anglosaxon Day 13/14 was held –our annual English language immersion day.
Students had fun as they learnt English through a wide range of activities at all levels –Primary, Secondary and Bachillerato. They played games (Scatergories, Password, Trivial, Minute to win it…), carried out computer activities, watched videos in English and, to top it off, attended live performances played out by the theatre company Producciones Omis from Valencia. Each play had been adapted to the age of the students addressed.
Students were given a chance to break their daily routine and enjoy a different school day, as part of our trilingual project. Emphasis was put on aural skills (listening and speaking), as well as on the playful side of language acquisition.
